I’m browsing through my phone one night and as I hearted photos of my friends, Instagram interrupts the feed with a message saying that I’d seen all the new posts from the last 2 days.
So I started checking the stories at the top. One of my friends has a video message that she wants me to watch. It’s about a product that can help you detox, feel better and even lose weight, among other things, in a short period of time called Iaso Tea. She’s using it and she wants her friends to join in a challenge.
I swipe. I know about these things. Another one, I thought.
A couple of days later my girlfriend is asking me to get her some of this tea. She can’t remember the name.
“Iaso Tea?” I asked.
“Yes! That’s it,” she replied.
The latest MLM craze right now seems to be Iaso Tea. I’ve seen it all over social media and have encountered people selling it in person.
In this article, I’m not going to tell you much about Iaso Tea but I’m going to tell you how you can make money selling it. So if you’ve become a Life Changer and trying to build your business selling Iaso Tea and other products but not having a lot of success then you need to read this to the end.
This post will not only show you how to make money selling Iaso Tea but it will also show you a unique way to promote all your products and get people to join the opportunity. This is going to be different from how most Life Changers are doing it.
The fact that you’re here reading this article means that this method works. You’ll learn some valuable skills along the way that will enable you to make money with other businesses also. If that sounds good then read on.
About Iaso Tea and Total Life Changes
Before we get into how to actually make money selling Iaso Tea, you’ll need to know a couple of things first. Below I’m giving you a summary of:

- How the compensation plan works (how you get paid)
Iaso Tea is just one of the products sold through direct sales and MLM company Total Life Changes.
The company isn’t new. It has been around for about 20 years now, started in 1999 by a guy named Jack Fallon who currently serves as the company’s CEO.
Iaso Tea is the Total Life Changes’ flagship product so it’s the most popular product being promoted by distributors known as Life Changers. Other products include Resolution Drops (an appetite suppressant), NutraBurst (a daily liquid multivitamin supplement), NRG (a weight loss and energy supplement), HSN (a dietary supplement for hair, skin and nails), essential oils and many more.
Most Life Changers however focus on selling the most popular product, Iaso Tea.
Iaso Tea, sold in an original and an instant formula, promises to detox the body and can help you lose 5 pounds in 5 days. It contains ingredients that suppress the appetite causing you to eat less thus you consume less calories – a requirement for shredding pounds.
I don’t know if the product works as promised so I’m not going to question that right now. My job at the moment is to show you how you can make money selling this product to potentially thousands of interested persons.
How To Become a Seller of Iaso Tea
Total Life Changes is an MLM company which means that in order for you to signup to sell Iaso Tea, you’ll have to join through one of their active distributors, called Life Changers.
You may know someone who sells the product or if you’re reading this you may have already signed up. If you don’t know anyone who is a Life Changer, it is possible for you to start the sign up process through the Total Life Changes website and then choose someone near you who will become your upline.
Cost of Signup/ What You Get
The cost of signup may differ depending on your location. If you’re in the United States, you’ll have two choices for a Starter Kit.
Choosing either the Standard Kit or the Digital Kit will cost you $49.95 USD. The Standard Kit ships to you as a physical package while the Digital Kit is available as an instant download.
For international prospects, the Digital Kit is preferable and while I didn’t check all the countries, it is the only option available for my country, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The cost of the Digital Kit is a one time fee of $20 USD and includes the following:
- Lifetime access to the 5in5 mobile app
- The Purple Book – a Life Changer plan to help you launch your business
- Top 5 Product Guide digital brochure – explains the ingredients and benefits of the best selling products
- TLC Brand and Culture book – the company’s vision, history and core values are explained in this download
- TLC Family System Guide – explains the progression of a sample customer to preferred customer and Life Changer
- Links to download TLC mobile apps including 5in5 preloaded with credits to send one sample product.
- Replicate retail website and online business management system
The cost to signup isn’t over as yet. While the above cost is a one time fee, you’ll also need to setup autoship of at least one product in order to qualify to earn commissions.
You choose one product that will automatically be sent to you each month and billed to your preferred payment method – any card with a Visa, Mastercard or major credit card logo. Products cost between $49.95 USD on the low end up to $1209.95 if you’re buying the Elite package.
So if you’re in the United States, the total cost is around at least $99.90 to start and internationally, it’s about $$69.90 plus shipping costs which I’m not sure about.
After deciding on your autoship, you’ll then need to enter your personal information, choose your retail website address and add your shipping and billing information.
How Does Compensation Work
Most MLM compensation plans are complicated and I feel as if they’re just designed to deliberately confuse you.
Total Life Changes compensation plan though still complicated, is one of the easiest ones for me to understand. To qualify for compensations, you need to do one of two things – get an autoship where you’ll be sent a product each month or enroll 8 preferred customers.
There are 6 ways to get paid by selling Iaso Tea. I’m not going to explain them all. Instead just take a look at Total Life Changes official compensation plan video below where they explain each of the ways you can get paid. See the quick summary below the video.
Here’s a quick summary of the 5 monetary ways you can get paid as a Life Changer selling Iaso Tea and other products.
- Retail bonus – 50% commission on each retail sale’s qualifying volume (QV).
- Fast Start bonus – 50% commission on your sponsored Life Changer’s first order.
- Binary Pay – Earn bonuses when you’re binary qualified.
- Matching bonus – Up to 50% on personally sponsored Life Changers volume (Director Level)
- Life Changer bonus – $1500/month for expenses at National Director Level
How to Make Money Selling Iaso Tea
So let’s get into how to actually earn some of these bonuses by selling Iaso Tea.
The way most people approach selling MLM products is to approach random strangers, people they work with, their friends and family. Life Changers know that they can also leverage the internet by using social media so many go that route as well, knowing they can link to the replicate website that they got at signup.
The second way is great but they still haven’t tapped into the full potential of using the internet. Few Life Changers know how to tap into a market that wants Iaso Tea instead of prospecting and hoping that random strangers would be interested.
Currently I’m involved in a business model called affiliate marketing which is different to multi-level marketing and direct selling in many ways. This business model has taught me how to reach people who are actively looking for stuff they want to buy. I’m not really selling to them. I’m actually just helping them answer their questions and giving them the solutions to their problems and I’m rewarded with commissions.
You can apply this same method to your Total Life Changers business and position yourself to sell Iaso Tea and other products to people who are actively looking for them as a solution to their problems. What You Need
To sell Iaso Tea this way you’ll need the following:
You will obviously need to be a Life Changer first and be on autoship so that you can qualify for commissions each month. Your replicate website will be used as the site where you’re going to be sending people to but only from a separate website where you’ll do most of your work.
The replicate website that Total Life Changes gives you is the same website everyone else has. The only difference between your website and others is that the name you gave it when you were setting it up is used as a unique identifier so that Total Life Changers knows they should credit you when a sale is made.
Other than good looks, the website wouldn’t show up if someone was to search on Google for Iaso Instant Tea. So unless you were actively sending people to that replicate website, it would be practically useless.
The reason we’re creating another website is to get it to show up in the search engines so that when people do searches on Google for Iaso Tea related search terms, your website will hopefully show up and you’ll have a potential customer being funneled to your replicate website where they can buy the tea.
Once you’ve done the work, you’ll be able to make sales while you sleep without ever meeting your customers. You’ll be able to build your binary legs without trying to recruit anyone and you’ll earn additional bonuses.
The other two things I mentioned that you’ll need is affiliate marketing training and research tools to find keywords.
Affiliate training is important because what you would be doing is essentially affiliate marketing and you probably don’t know how this works. I couldn’t fit the entire process with all the details into this post so that’s why you need the training.
Once you know how that works, you’ll be able to add another stream of income if you like. I’d suggest using the TLC ig site for the training because this is the same one I used years ago – they helped me quit my day job to become a full time affiliate marketer.
The research tools are for finding the keywords that people are using to find info about Iaso Tea. Use these keywords to create content and those people will find you and buy your tea.
The Process
The process that is used in affiliate marketing is a simple 4 step process that goes like this:
Because you’re selling Iaso Tea, step 1 is already done. You’ve already found what you’ll be promoting so you just need to get to the other three steps.
The next step is to build a website (or a blog). Use Shopify or Wix
Building a website is easier than you think. You have many options for this in terms of website builders but we’ll be using WordPress through a web hosting provider.
Step 1: Create Your Website
To create a website, you click on “Website Builder” in the dashboard and the click on “Site Builder” in the pop up.
On the Site Builder page, you’ll be able to choose how you want to build your website. If you’re on a free account then you’ll only be given the “free domain” option. I’m on a premium account so all my options have been unlocked and available to me.
After clicking on free domain (or any other choice that’s available to you), you’ll be able to add some details and set up your website.
The first detail you need is similar to choosing the website address for your replicate Total Life Changers website. You can use the same thing you chose for that website here. So for example, if you choose “KarenTea” for your Total Life Changers website, you can put “karentea” in the first box. Your website’s domain would then be “karentea.siterubix.com” in this example.
If you upgrade your Wealthy Affiliate account, you’ll be able to use something like “KarenTea.com” as your domain name. You’ll still be able to do so even after creating this website.
Next you’ll put in the name of your new website. So if we use the same example here, your website name would be something like Karen’s Tea Business or something creative like “Karen Spills The Tea”. You can always change this later.
Finally, you’ll choose a theme or design for your new website. There are thousands of great ones and you can always switch to a new design later at any time.
Once you’ve chosen a theme, you can hit the button “Build My Website” and your live website would be created. You’re now ready to move onto the third step which is what makes this whole thing work – attracting visitors to your website.
This next step is the most important part of this article and it’s what you came here to learn.
Step 2: Attracting Visitors (Researching Keywords)
Every day, millions of people go to the internet to search for a way to solve their problems. They enter what we call keywords or search phrases into a search engine like Google.
If you knew what people were searching to know more about Iaso Tea, you could create content that would help them to know more and provide a way for them to buy their solution.
Not just Iaso Tea. You could sell all the products Total Life Changes offers using this method.
How do we find what people are searching for though?
There is a trick that I use that can give you hundreds, if not thousands of keywords that you can use to create content. I simply go to the Google search box and type in my target keyword and see what comes up. I can also be creative with the searches to uncover even more.
So for example, we can start with “iaso tea” as our target keyword.
In this example, you could see that I’ve previously searched for iaso tea for acne but there are also about 9 other examples. These are the most popular searches for Iaso Tea on Google. Google suggests these keywords when you type in “iaso tea” because they’re trying to help you search for what you’re looking for faster.
So you have “iaso tea instant”, “iaso tea reviews”, “iaso tea benefits” and more. These are all things that you can write about on your new website using these exact words in the title.
So if I was going to talk about “iaso tea benefits”, I’d write an article called “Iaso Tea Benefits: 10 Reasons Why Iaso Tea Is Good For You“.
Now, when people type in “iaso tea benefits” or any other related keyword that brings up your article, they’ll be able to read about the benefits of Iaso Tea and decide if they’d want to purchase. If they like what they read, they’ll hopefully click the links you provide to your replicate website and buy some which should earn you instant retail bonus commissions.
But those are just 10 keywords and they’re the most popular keywords. Other Life Changers would also be using these keywords to rank their websites.
Here’s what to do next and to always keep doing. You may want to record the results as you get them so that you can make a list of articles you want to create.
Remember in the first example, I only typed in “iaso tea”. Now I can look at what’s there and keep typing. Google will continue suggesting different keywords as I type. Let’s try the most popular one “iaso tea instant”.
Here you have more suggestions as they relate to Iaso Tea Instant. Looking at these you may want to do articles like “Iaso Tea Instant Ingredients: What’s In Your Tea?” or “5 Reasons to Drink Iaso Tea Instant with Hemp (and Where to Get It)“.
Here’s another way to uncover even more related searches.
I can put “iaso tea” then add an “a” to see what Google will suggest. Then if there are a lot of results for that I can add a “b” to the “a” (“iaso tea + ab”) so I’m checking the searches for “iaso tea + a” alphabetically. When I’m done, I’ll check “iaso tea + b” and so on.
Yet another way to get even more is to type question searches. For example, you can type any of these:
- is iaso tea
- does iaso tea
- can iaso tea
- which iaso tea
- what iaso tea
- where iaso tea
- why iaso tea
- who iaso tea
Using question searches like these are some of the best terms to create content with because they’re easier to rank and you’ll truly be helping someone who uses these searches.
Other searches such as comparisons (iaso tea vs. another tea) can also help someone decide which tea they should be drinking.
An easy way to get most of the ideas above without the need to keep searching Google is to use a site called AnswerThePublic. Just enter the keyword in the search box and they’ll present all the keywords in a visual form on the page for you.
I said most because you can still uncover more keywords using the Google search box.
Using these keywords to create content on a website you control is the key to attracting visitors who will purchase your products. I’ve only used Iaso Tea as an example but Total Life Changes has many products that you can also create content about using the same research method.
Step 3: Attracting Visitors (Social Media)
In the beginning, Google isn’t going to start sending you traffic and visitors until you have a decent number of articles on your website. You can supplement by sharing your articles on your social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and even by creating YouTube videos around the same keywords.
You’ll also have an opportunity to recruit visitors so that you can build out your binary legs. You can also create content around the business side of Total Life Changes to encourage people to join your team.
Having a website where you can create content is a great way to build a business. If you can show others that you’re doing it in a different way and that your way works, you can build a team that you know is going to succeed. It will be better for you as more people will be retained in your legs and you’ll earn more and bigger bonus commissions.
This method works. I know because I use it everyday to attract thousands of visitors to my websites and earn a full time income each month. Use it attract preferred customers for Iaso Tea and your other products and use it to attract other Life Changers.
